Agriculture

As a large net exporter of agricultural products, the United Cape States (UCS), as an aspiring first-world country, will be considerably expanded by the application of advanced agricultural technologies. Farm owners are to be continuously assisted by the UCS government with the provision of additional technical or advisory assistance, and the requisite equipment and machinery, (i.e. bulldozers, excavators, deep borehole drilling for water, etc.) to ensure optimal quality, efficiency, economical viability, and productivity.

The UCS deems our food security – the production, supply, availability and affordability to our people as vital. Our farmers will therefore be directly assisted by the UCS to develop (among other projects) deep underground ‘water-to-surface’ systems for both irrigation and potable water supply directed into newly constructed or upgraded dams, lakes, and reservoirs.

A vast, diverse, stable, and where required subsidized agricultural sector will be established, with a keen focus on the security and safety of livestock, fish-stock, fruit, and crop supply.

The UCS agricultural program will be specifically geared to produce agricultural products in an economically viable and sustainable fashion to directly compete with the international export market and to enter the cultivation of high-value seafood such as abalone on aquaculture farms, significantly contributing to the export market.
